Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 September 2026. This policy is written to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version
You can use every part of Gamerilo without telling us who you are. We do not operate accounts, we do not ask for your name to play, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
What we store
- Your best scores. Kept in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They never reach our servers and we cannot see them.
- Basic server logs. Our host records requests, including IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. These are retained for a short period and are not used to identify individuals.
- Aggregate usage counts. If analytics are enabled, we look only at totals — how many people opened a page — not at individual behaviour.
What we do not do
- Sell, rent or share personal data with anyone.
- Track you across other websites.
- Ask children for personal details.
- Use dark patterns to obtain consent.
Children
Gamerilo is intended to be suitable for all ages. Because the site works without registration, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the contact form, email hello@gamerilo.com and we will delete it.
Advertising
The site currently shows placeholder advertising space only. If a third-party ad network is introduced, this policy will be updated before it goes live, and the Cookie Policy will explain exactly what that network sets and how to refuse it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. Because we hold almost nothing tied to an identity, most requests are answered quickly. To clear your scores yourself, clear site data for gamerilo.com in your browser settings.
Contact
Questions about this policy: hello@gamerilo.com, or use the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
